We started our hunt club in 2001 and
we are growing our membership base
slowly every year. |

At the moment we have over 1280
acres in southern Ohio and are
considering other lease prospects as
well. |

How do I become an Executive Board
Member? |
|
A: |
You must be an active Hunting Member
for 2 years before you can be
considered for an Executive Board
Member position. An Executive Board

are elected to these positions, as
needed, each February. |
|
Q: |
Are there different levels of
membership at CRSC? |
|
A: |
Yes. CRSC has 3 different paying
levels consisting of Hunting
Memberships, Deer Gun Memberships, &
Non-Hunting Memberships. In
addition, the club has provisions
for Honorary and Lifetime
Memberships based on club charter
guidelines. The CRSC Charter and
By-Laws explains these membership
classifications in more detail. |
|
Q: |
How do you address trespassing
issues? |
|
A: |
All CRSC lands are clearly posted
and members have identification
cards. All access roads are gated
and locked. Properties are
frequently patroled by local law
enforcement, game wardens, property
owners and club members. Violators
will be prosecuted to the fullest
extent of the law as necessary. |
|
Q: |
What is a Non-Hunting Membership? |
|
A: |
Some members are interested in
camping, hiking, horseback riding
(where applicable), berry picking,
etc. A special membership was
established to allow these families
or individuals access. |
|
Q: |
What are the penalties for
harvesting a "small" or "young"
buck? |
|
A: |
We take Quality Deer Management (QDM)
very seriously and ask our members
to be diligent with respect to the
bucks taken. Any infraction of our
rules and regulations will be
reviewed by the CRSC Executive Board
and a decision will be rendered.
Depending on the circumstances
shooting an "illegal" buck could
result in a suspension of hunting
privledges for one season or a loss
of membership. |
|
Q: |
Does CRSC promote Youth Hunting
activities? |
|
A: |
Yes. Each season, in conjunction
with the statewide youth hunts for
deer & turkey, CRSC promotes youth
hunting. Members with children may
participate or may "sponsor" a
non-member youth hunter. |
